Virgin Islands Resort
Our Virgin Islands resort is located on the smallest of the developed U.S. Virgin Islands and is a 47-acre tropical hideaway on the palm-lined shores of Great Cruz Bay.
Enjoy our private 1,200-foot-long white sand beach, surrounded by the lush green hills of the emerald isle. Explore the pristine Virgin Islands National Park which encompasses over two-thirds of the island and is located just minutes from the resort.
An island of privacy and exceptional natural beauty, St. John is a unique destination to recharge, revitalize and enjoy a wealth of recreational opportunities. View all of the amazing things to do in St. John.
St. John is in the Atlantic Standard Time zone, but we don't participate in daylight saving time, which makes us an hour closer to the mainland U.S. at least part of the year. In fall/winter, we are one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time, and in spring/summer, we are the same as Eastern Standard Time.
Currency, Language & Driving
Local currency is the U.S. dollar, and the language spoken is English (most of the time). We drive on the left-hand side of the road.
2013 Flavors of St. John
In partnership with The Rotary Club of St. John, Inc., The Westin St. John Resort will host the club's largest annual fundraising event this year, Flavors of St. John. The event will be held November 23, 2013, in The Westin St. John main ballroom. Participating island restaurants will present their signature dishes for the coming season and guests are encouraged to sample, taste and vote for their favorites. Proceeds this year will go to The Rotary Club's $5,000 annual college scholarship fund as well as to other important projects in the St. John community. Be sure to attend this fun island event on Saturday, November 23 from 6:00-11:00pm.
