The weather on St. John ranges naturally from beautiful to excellent. Tropical in climate, the year-round average temperature is 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Light trade winds and occasional scattered showers at convenient times provide a refreshing break from the usual sunshine.

Time Zone

St. John is in the Atlantic Standard Time zone, but we don't participate in daylight saving time, which makes us an hour closer to the mainland U.S. at least part of the year. In fall/winter, we are one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time, and in spring/summer, we are the same as Eastern Standard Time.

Currency, Language & Driving

Local currency is the U.S. dollar, and the language spoken is English (most of the time). We drive on the left-hand side of the road.
